Job Context:

We`re looking for a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills to help us elevate their work as our full-time, in-house copywriter. As a member of the creative team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the accounts and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Thorough research and interviews will be required to understand each client`s industry, products/services, branding and marketing goals. The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style. Here`s what we`d like you to do:
∎ Work Week: Sunday to Thursday
∎ Work Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
∎ Office Location: Road 4, Gulshan 1, Dhaka, Bangladesh
∎ 6-month probation period
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Decode client briefs with planners and account managers to develop and produce creative concepts
∎ Research and plan creative approach by familiarising themselves with the clients' product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
∎ Conceptualize ideas and stories by an understanding of audience psychology and making intuitive decisions
∎ Discuss the client's core message and target audience, and brainstorm visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team
∎ Produce original, clear, persuasive and credible ideas/messages/scripts, and present these to clients and colleagues
∎ Review progress, modify the copy and incorporate feedback until the client is satisfied
∎ Work on multiple campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often on tight deadlines
∎ Handle difficult situations with empathy, composure, and presence of mind
∎ Ensure team members meet the quality and timeline expectations
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong conceptual thinking abilities with the ability to align great ideas to business goals
∎ Passionate storytelling capabilities with love for writing, creating and marketing
∎ Experience (2+ years) in working in a relevant role, preferably in agencies
∎ Proficiency in using basic productivity and collaboration tools
∎ Basic understanding of and curiosity about advertising, branding & digital media
∎ Ability to produce quality work under pressure
∎ Ability to learn quickly, with curiosity to pick up new skills
∎ Professionalism, integrity, commitment and dedication
∎ Great attitude and a lack of ego
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Negotiable based on assessment & experience
