Job Context:
∎ Coordinator - Social Enterprise is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and promotion of SVT`s social enterprises, development marketing functions and finance and similar revenue-generating programmes that may serve as a model for self-sustaining enterprises with a social development impact.
∎ Primary Responsibilities: Take the lead in the development and management of new and existing social enterprise`s activities particularly in the production of jute based products. These currently include handmade paper, cards, weaving and screen printing production and marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Achieve superior growth and market performance through entrepreneurial approaches to innovative business concepts and products.
∎ Participate in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of key activities according to organization's and partners requirements and regulations.
∎ Ensure accuracy, consistency and timeliness of financial and performance-oriented reports (quantitative and qualitative, financial and social).
∎ Ensure timely production, quality maintenance and shipment dates for all products.
∎ Update the strategic planning process through annual business plans (outlining financial projections) based on performance analysis
∎ Through ongoing quantitative and qualitative analysis, identify areas of strength and weakness to improve overall performance.
∎ Support and/or coordinate procurement and inventory management.
∎ Monitoring of budgets and expenditures, maintain books of accounts, prepare profit and loss accounts and other related reports. Ensure that all reports are prepared to be accurate, systematic, dependable and reliable.
∎ Liaise on a regular and ongoing basis with Ecota Forum, other partners, agencies, and customers.
∎ Develop a portfolio for the social enterprise, including securing new support streams and markets and developing/refining concepts
∎ Develop and apply enterprise development best practices and approaches into Organization's production activities, and evaluate and promote cross linkage opportunities for enterprise development.
∎ Assist in developing and preparing business plans, briefings, and public relations development with the consultation of Digital Marketing Coordinator.
∎ Special focus given on Digital Marketing through social media with consultation of Digital Marketing Coordinator.
∎ Systematically use any surplus funds generated by Sreepur Village Trade to support Organization's human development activities.
∎ Represent the agency at designated meetings and at conferences.
∎ Staff Management.
∎ Risk Management.
∎ Any other assigned job by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 29 to 39 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent writing and presentation skills, ability to highlight and explain relevant data.
∎ Strong financial analysis skills, ability create financial models preferred.
∎ Strong book keeping, ledger and all inventory books maintenance and report production.
∎ Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, familiar with and able to operate handmade paper production in particular.
∎ Good knowledge in Writing English and average speaking English.
∎ Having computer literacy with basic English knowledge;
∎ Having good judgement and observation skills
∎ Willing to travel throughout the Bangladesh.
∎ Candidate needs to stay in the project office : Tengra, Sreepur
∎ Ability to Work Under Pressure.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 - 45000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary depends on experience & Education. And other benefits will be provided after successfully completion of the probation period.
