∎ Masters with honors in Sociology/Journalism/Mass Communication/ Development Studies or any other relevant subject from any reputed university. Education qualification will be relaxed for exceptionally experienced professional.

∎ The candidate should have proficiency in Bangla and English and at least 5 years of experience in development or humanitarian organizations focusing on networking, humanitarian accountability, monitoring, evaluation, communication, advocacy and training. Experience in producing social media content and communication materials including graphic design, and photography is required. Experience in staff capacity building through organizing training including training module development and facilitation.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ COAST Foundation (www.coastbd.net) is a value-based NGO with a special consultative status of UN ECOSOC, registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau, the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and Micro Credit Regulatory Authority of Bangladesh.
∎ The Foundation has a zero-tolerance policy about Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and protects children from child marriage by its staff. The Foundation is inviting professionals to apply for the below positions.
∎ Purpose: The person will lead the secretariat of Sphere Community Bangladesh at COAST Foundation. S/he will be responsible for communicating with members, updating membership, monitoring and evaluating the progress of implementing quality and accountability standards e.g. Sphere, CHS, etc., in the humanitarian response, developing newsletter and short videos and campaigning on humanitarian accountability issues, through social media for strengthening quality and accountability in the country’s humanitarian sector, organizing meetings and training for staff capacity of the network member organizations.
