Job Responsibilities:
∎ Family Tracing and Reunification will strive to enhance the overall quality of prevention and response to family separation, ensure that the minimum standards as per guidelines and IDTR process as part of Save the Children Case management are completed.
∎ In particular, the role shall focus on strengthening Save the Children's programming, technical capacity and quality through understanding of concepts in Unaccompanied and Separated children in thematic area using the IA Guiding Principle on USAC, Family Tracing and Reunification Standard Operation Procedures and Alternative Care Guidelines for contextualization and supporting the mainstreaming into programmes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent understanding of Family Tracing and Reunification and Case Management approach;
∎ 03 years sectorial experience or relevant experience in social work, community development and working with children in child protection proamme and 01 year in management and or supervisory position;
∎ Excellent communication (written and spoken English) and coordination skill;
∎ Computer knowledge;
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skill;
∎ Be able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure;
∎ Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures;
∎ Knowledge of Save the Children's practices and procedures and ways of working with children
∎ Commitment to Save the Children's values and understanding of child rights, the aims and principles of SC, and humanitarian standards a-such as the Sphere Charter and the Code of Conduct.
