Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh NariSramik Kendra (BNSK) is a development organization, dedicated to promote and protect rights of the migrant workers especially for women migrant workers through (i) Mass awareness campaigns for safe orderly and regular migration; (ii) Capacity building for potential migrants and socioeconomic reintegration of returnee migrants; and (iii) advocacy to promote and protect rights of the migrants and victims of trafficking.
∎ BNSK has signed a partnership agreement titled EMPWER with PROKAS, British Council to create an impact in service delivery in migration sector of Bangladesh. It plans to see the Overall impact in women migration is -Reduced incidence of Modern Slavery of women migrant workers of Bangladesh through economic, social, and legal empowerment.
∎ BNSK is looking for a competent and self-motivated individual for the following position:
∎ The position is based in BNSK head office in Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reporting to the Program Manager of BNSK, the Coordinator- capacity building performs all day-to-day capacity building and case management support related operations, with functional responsibility for said designated project activities management and operational strategy development. Responsibilities also include production of training modules; develop training plan aligned with project plan to obtain project objectives and enhance the accuracy of the BNSK's reported projectgoal and results. S/he has to ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted program principles (GAPP), adhere to donor's program management standards, and result in flawless program objectives. S/he is responsible for management and coordination of capacity building of the potential and returnee migrants, providing support services to the returnee migrants especially the women which will be used to contribute to the delivery of BNSK project strategic goals.

∎ Management Responsibilities:
∎ Works closely with the head of capacity development in planning and implementing the safe community action plan - which aims to build capacity of local law enforcement agencies, NGOs, and local communities to reduce gender-based violence in migration.
∎ Connect BNSK hotline services with partners in each community or sector, including identifying and following up with public or private decision makers, local allies and community leaders to commit to eliminating gender-based violence.
∎ Actively carry out Leadership capacity building training of the departing migrant women and do outreach activities together with BNSK management and project team.
∎ Assist in the production and dissemination of community-tailored awareness materials for BNSK project beneficiaries.
∎ Assist in identifying and galvanizing the support service standards implementation plan - to create networks of domestic migrant workers at community level for their self advocacy.
∎ Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in service provision (including government shelter personnel) towards joint capacity building activities.
∎ Maintain and update the service delivery network database, including communicating with the network members and keeping track of progression in initiating services and shelters.
∎ Assist in the production, publicity and dissemination of shelter standards-related materials.
∎ Train/ orient local government representatives to work as women migrant's service seeking facilitators at the community level.
∎ Transactional Responsibilities:
∎ Identifying training and development needs within the organization .
∎ Designing and developing training module, curriculum, guidelines, training materials for project officials, Local government representatives(LGR) and migrant workers based on needs.
∎ Coordinate, conduct and facilitate effective training, orientation for LRG members, volunteers, project staffs at districts, upazilas and at grassroots level.
∎ Producing training materials, schedules etc for in-house courses.
∎ Managing the delivery of training and development programmes.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation of trainings and report preparation.
∎ Helping line management to solve specific training related problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
∎ Capacity building of local government representatives to become social-advocate for migrant's issues
∎ Ensuring achieving project target through developing project training database
∎ Ensures close collaboration and coordination with partners to guarantee smooth implementation of capacity building activities and achievement of results as specified in the grant agreements.
∎ Build staff capacity through training and technical assistance to the potential migrants.
∎ Reporting Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in issuing timely, accurate, and complete training reports for project executivesand management.
∎ Assist the program and financial team with training data, knowledge and training monitoring support.
∎ Compliance Responsibilities:
∎ Developing periodic and the annual training plan for the project.
∎ Suggest improvements in processes to increase training program performance.
∎ Train and coach program team on capacity development.
∎ Oversee different training related filings including module development and partnerships for BNSK.
∎ Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
∎ Proactive, hands-on manager who will own, in partnership with the program manager, responsibility for the training delivery of BNSK and its partners.
∎ Strategic thinker who possesses solid capacity building acumen and is able to organize and manage multiple capacity building tasks and priorities.
∎ Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact effectively with donors, partners and others, both internally and externally.
∎ Excellent time management skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
∎ Proven ability to make monitoring checklist, research interventions and knowledge management for complex and time-sensitive decision making support for BNSK and its beneficiaries.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of Capacity building
∎ Knowledge of major capacity building methodologies and proven ability to develop and design training instrumentation tools such as orientation guidelines, Flip poster, training modules, manual.
∎ Extensive knowledge in Capacity building and experimental training evaluation and needs assessment.
∎ Broad experience in the design and implementation of capacity building materials.
∎ Committed to feminist principles and BNSK vision, mission, and core values.
∎ Demonstrates pro-activeness, adaptability and the ability to perform and collaborate under challenging conditions.
∎ Ability to build and manage relationships and clear community mobilisation abilities.
∎ Has knowledge of (and committed to develop expertise in) women's human rights, violence against women, and domestic violence at the national level.
∎ Track-record of completing high quality work or experience in capacity building programs. A combination of education, work experience, and training can demonstrate these qualities.
∎ Excellent analytical skills combined with a proactive, energetic approach to problem solving
∎ Proficiency with knowledge development, knowledge management, online reporting software management, Report writing, Editing and excellent Excel skills.
∎ Efficient to stress management, conflict management, staff management including CBO organization and management.
