Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in preparing mobilization plans in consultation with the OMTL and OS and mobilize beneficiaries as per the schedule.
∎ Disseminate key messages to ensure accountability and transparency in food distribution activities.
∎ Create community awareness about available services, such as outlet facilities, CFM support, and hotline services, to promote empowerment.
∎ Build rapport with volunteers and field-level stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and timely disaster response.
∎ Prepare session plans and conduct awareness-building activities to achieve project objectives.
∎ Map community demographics to identify vulnerable groups requiring additional support.
∎ Conduct surveys, assessments, and focus group discussions (FGDs) to gather insights for reporting and planning.
∎ Collect and provide updated information on beneficiary locations, family sizes, and other details for smooth mobilization.
∎ Verify beneficiaries’ information and whereabouts as per donor guidelines.
∎ Prepare and submit reports on absent beneficiaries, including valid reasons and recommendations.
∎ Prepare and distribute invitation tokens to ensure smooth distribution processes.
∎ Coordinate with volunteers, porters, and local community members to minimize crowding and ensure orderly food distribution.
∎ Assist the operation team with rapid response activities as necessary.
∎ Collect and report complaints during token distribution, coordinating with help desks for resolution.
∎ Prepare and submit daily token distribution status reports and return unused tokens with an absent list to the supervisor.
∎ Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies to protect team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation.
∎ Promote and enforce safeguarding practices, including Gender Mainstreaming, PSEA, Protection, and Accountability to Affected Populations.
∎ Follow and encourage adherence to safeguarding reporting procedures for any reportable incidents.
∎ Ensure the safety and well-being of beneficiaries, adhering to safeguarding policies to prevent harm, abuse, neglect, or harassment.
∎ Comply with organizational policies, including child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities, and the code of conduct.

∎ Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) is an organization for sustainable development working in the greater Chattogram division including Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) since 1985 (International Youth Year). YPSA is implementing a project titled “General Food Assistance (GFA) Programme” at the Refugee camp, Ukhiya Upazila in Cox's Bazar with the support of WFP.

∎ Job Summary:
∎ The role is responsible for mobilizing beneficiaries, ensuring accountability and transparency in food distribution, and promoting community awareness about available services. Key duties include conducting awareness sessions, mapping vulnerable groups, collecting and verifying beneficiary data, coordinating distribution activities, and ensuring safeguarding compliance. The position requires effective collaboration with stakeholders, adherence to organizational policies, and prompt reporting to support project objectives and community well-being.
