Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is implementing `EC-PRISM` Project in Rangpur, Kurigram, Gaibandha, Lalmonirhat districts supported by Practical Action funded by European Commission. Interested candidates are requested to apply for the position of Community Mobilizer
∎ Job Location: Upazila level of Rangpur, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat and Gaibandha district
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Village selection, group formation using PRA tools;
∎ Develop Jute value chain and help jute producers to increase jute production;
∎ Provide marketing support to jute farmers;
∎ Select small jute buyer and engage them into the project activities through integration of SME, and other stakeholders;
∎ Liaison with stakeholders i.e. DAE, public and private sector, Union Parishad and NGOs;
∎ Select extreme poor youth for vocational training
∎ Compilation and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ One year experience in any technical position of the agricultural field;
∎ Documentation, reporting and facilitation skill;
∎ Willingness to ride bicycle;
∎ Good in interpersonal communication;
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
Salary: Tk. 19000 - 21236 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Each festival bonus is equivalent to 50% of monthly consolidated salary
