Job Context:
∎ Currently, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for suitable Bangladeshi national for the following position under UNHCR supported "Bhasanchar Operation (BCO)":
∎ Duration of contract: Till 31st December 2023. (with the possibility of extension).
∎ Reporting to: Community Mobilization Officer, Bhasan Char Operation.
∎ Duty station: Bhasan Char, Hatiya Noakhali.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the Site Management Field Activities of BDRCS at Bhasan Char.
∎ Support the team to facilitate different types of assessments, awareness sessions, community consultations and field-level activities.
∎ Monitor the service monitoring through the EPR/SMS volunteers.
∎ Facilitate Community-Led Project related activities in the community
∎ Support to produce the monthly, biweekly, and monthly reports.
∎ Any other duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 01 year of working experience in relevant field.
∎ Good Computer skills.
∎ Organizing, Coordination and Planning skills.
∎ Sound knowledge in subject area.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
∎ Willingness to facilitate regular field visit.
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla.
∎ Adhere to the 7 fundamental principles of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.
∎ Act at all times in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
∎ Able to work in a team and respects opinions of others.
∎ Honest and high level of integrity.
∎ Assist the organization on occasion, in times of national, international, local emergencies or major disasters.
∎ Age limit : 36 years (age limit will be relaxed in case of the potential candidate).
Salary: Tk. 35000 (Monthly)
