Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Development studies, Emergency, DRR, Sociology, or any other related field from any recognized university with minimum second class/division or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure equal access to participate in all camp activities for all groups.
∎ Coordinate with CiC and CBP set up camp community governance structure.
∎ Involve members of the camp population as volunteers in specific tasks/projects that are designed and planned in consultation with the refugee community.
∎ Promote, facilitate and coordinate a participatory approach among all stakeholders.
∎ Promote and coordinate to ensure effective feed-back and complaints mechanism.
∎ Encourage community participation through such groups as neighborhood watch schemes, care groups for persons with specific needs and recreation groups, sports and celebrations.
∎ Promote and coordinate capacity building activities.
∎ Ensure community participation in the activities taking place in the site (i.e. distributions, planning, care and maintenance, site awareness raising activities).
∎ Propose and facilitate communication in the camp in various way and make sure they are understandable by all the camp/site population.
∎ Facilitate and coordinate trainings for committee members in the camp.
∎ Support committees to monitor activities in the camp including education, water, care and maintenance, site improvements, etc.
∎ Ensure the presence and effectiveness of a feedback or complaint mechanism (ensure community knows how to use the feedback and/or complain mechanism) in coordination with Protection sector partners.
∎ Support refugees in the organization of community events including awareness raising and sensitization activities.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least one year of work experience in emergency set up or development in NGO sector
∎ Good communication skills, capacity to work and mobilize communities and problem solving skills
∎ Ability to work with people of various backgrounds, culture and religions
∎ Some knowledge and understanding of gender and participation issues as a plus
∎ Team player is essential
∎ Has a leadership ability to identify needs and resolved problems at camp level
∎ Experienced to facilitate, organize, and mobilize community
∎ An ability to help and engage community
∎ An ability to identify capacity-building needs among communities (e.g. leadership skills, networking and partnership-building skills)
∎ Good understanding of Rohingya context and can communicate to local language
∎ Work in a team and flexible
∎ Problem solver
∎ Critical Thinking
∎ Able to communicate issues
∎ Knowledgeable of Rohingya context
∎ Adhere to Brac core values
