Job Context:
∎ HEED Bangladesh is Non-Government and non-political National Organization working in the field of Health, Education and Economic Development for more than 45 (forty-five) years. The Organization invites applications from the suitable candidates for it`s C-19 Project (Covid, TB, HIV, Malaria) in Sylhet, Habigonj and Moulvibazar Districts under GFATM Project as a sub-recipient NGO of BRAC. Nature of job for Field Organizer is Contractual.
∎ One Year Contractual Appointment (With Possibility of Extension)
∎ Start Date- As soon as possible
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify TB presumptive and collect sputum and transport to the nearest GeneXpert lab for testing from their designated working area at community level.
∎ Identify COVID-19 presumptive in respective working areas through community mobilization and refer them to the nearest COVID-19 testing facility
∎ Identify Malaria suspects and ensure the referrals of Malaria and HIV suspects for testing/
∎ Raise awareness about TB and COVID-19 in the community
∎ Motive people to be vaccinated against COVID-19 an disseminate information to reduce stigma related to TB and COVID-19
∎ Support increased case notification of TB and COVID-19 patient
∎ The position will be reportable to the respective Area Supervisor
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Have credibility to work their deployed area (most likely in their community)
Salary: Tk. 4000 (Monthly)
