Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in Communications / Journalism / English / Instructional Technology / Economics or any relevant field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support Rohingy Refugee Response by assist in arranging/coordinating all communications appropriate for emergency response including handling media inquiries, facilitating field visits, preparing press statements and arranging press conference.
∎ Contribute in developing Internal Communications Plan to drive engagement, alignment and understanding of WV's strategy and priorities to support.
∎ Produce quality written contents with high quality language standard for positioning WVB's Response efforts towards attaining child-wellbeing in the camp and community including annual reports, brochures, factsheets for donors, project profiles, blog posts, newsletter, presentation, etc. to communicate program achievements to staff within country office, the region and the wider audience.
∎ Produce photographic materials (images, photo essays) to illustrate field stories.
∎ Support WV's program through high quality productive writing (in English), and packaging of feature stories and issues-oriented reports/contents where WV is present and utilized for web-based, electronic and print materials that ensure effective donor and public engagement by WV and its Rohingya Refugee Response.
∎ Manage daily internal and external requests for communications resources targeted for various audiences.
∎ Ensure that all content complies with World Vision child protection protocols and international brand standards.
∎ Deliver edited content on deadline according to agreed-upon quality standards and file formats, including captions and translations, using World Vision content systems.
∎ Contribute to ensure tailored and adaptive approaches for communication with specific audiences
∎ Contribute to build the Humanitarian Emergency Affairs (HEA) communications capacity of communications staff.
∎ Act as alternate focal to build productive working relationships with Cox's Bazar leadership and communications counterparts at key UN and NGO partners, as well as donors, for positioning and coordination
∎ Maintain productive coordination with local journalists of Cox's Bazar district.
∎ Contribute in producing and disseminating all external messaging for the Response including Q&As, key messages, statements, social media posts, etc.
∎ Asist line manager with facts and figures to act as spokesperson for the Response.

∎ Demonstrated experience in media relations and media field trip management.
∎ Strong organizational skills
∎ Field communications experience in emergency or refugee-related settings.
∎ Excellent social media development and management experience.
∎ Superior story telling skills, including reporting, writing, and editing, as well as oral presentation skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Excellent written and spoken English and Bangla
∎ Demonstrated collaboration & team building skills
∎ Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ At least 3 years progressive experience in communications or media position
∎ Experience working with International Non-Profit organization
∎ Experience of humanitarian response program
∎ Experience of working with national/international news agency
∎ Cross cultural experience
∎ Frequent field visit - camp and host community.
∎ Going the extra mile based on the nature of the emergency response.
