∎ Summary: Responsible for the development of the project related publications. Ensures that project adhere to branding standards and guidelines and comply with donor requirements. Will contribute to content and/or creative development through accessing a global pool of in-house talent and an extensive pool of freelance journalists, photographers, editors, technical writers, proofreaders, videographers, graphic designers, desktop publication specialists, and event planners to increase Pathfinder`s external visibility. Responsible as a lead in developing internal reports and documents and managing external content and creative development. Contribute to developing technical reports, success stories and other relevant project reports with the information from project leads. This position will also closely work with the `Communication & Documentation Manager` of Pathfinder Bangladesh office.
∎ The position is assigned to Pathfinder`s Bangladesh WLCR project in Bangladesh. It is a four-year project funded by Takeda Pharmaceuticals Company Limited as its` Global CSR Program. The project aims in advancing the leadership of women and girls towards better health and climate change resilience in Bangladesh
∎ Technical Report Writing: Lead and create the technical reports for the project on monthly/ quarterly or as need basis. Prepare pictographic documents to create a better illustration of the project.
∎ Internal- External Communication: Develop different types of internal and external materials, reports, one-pager about project, case study, project newsletter with the assistance of the project manager. Performing as an editor for documents.
∎ Presentation: Preparing brief note on presentation, fine-tune any presentation along with developing/ proofreading the relevant documents with a presentation. Create relevant documents needed to go with the presentation.
∎ Communications Planning Execution: Lead the internal creative planning and execution of communication materials, including website, social media, and print collateral. Oversees the creation on content and design of assigned projects. Ensures timely production of communications vehicles geared towards appropriate audiences.
∎ Communications Strategy Implementation: Guides and implements plans and strategies to achieve project-specific communications objectives. Leads conceptualization and oversees the writing, editorial, production, dissemination and publications management of communications materials (including online and email communications strategies) in support of the Pathfinder International brand strategy. Ensures consistency in the language, look and feel of all materials (including press releases) targeted to external audiences.
∎ External Relations Liaison: Serves as Pathfinder's point of contact for external communications who forwards communication requests to appropriate departments. Builds and strengthens collaborative relationships with internal business units and teams.
∎ Vendor Oversight: Provide content and oversee editorial work of consultants on planning and message development, managing services for materials, designers, printers, photographers and media. Oversee and guide vendor relationships. Ensures that appropriate content is translated to meet target audiences' needs.
∎ Online Status Findings and Recommendations Reports: Monitors the website, intranet and other online statistics, reports results and recommends improvements impacting usability, engagement and visibility.
∎ Activities and Events Coordination: Lead and assist (where needed) with organization-wide events and speaking engagements, including events and conferences to promote Pathfinder among the government stakeholders.
∎ Project Management and Participation: Leads, manages or participates in cross functional project teams.
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience in communications specially in developing reports, success stories and project brief
∎ Prefer: Experience living or working in developing countries that aids in the understanding of program context, field realities, and technical needs preferred
