Job Context:
∎ This is a leadership role of the Company and shall take part of the country strategic Sales & Marketing matters. The main role of this position is to drive growth and innovation to ensure leading position in cement led by innovation and differentiation. Nurturing the new businesses and grow aggressively in new profitable segments. Building e-commerce platform as future source of business growth.
∎ This position is also responsible for developing and implementing Sales and Marketing strategies, both short and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets by optimizing the use of the commercial levers of value creation to foster business value and maximize company profit in a sustainable manner.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to the definition of business objectives; consequently define the Sales and Marketing strategies, conveying Holcim guidelines (where applicable), and ensure its effective implementation.
∎ Define the Company's annual Sales and Marketing targets, according to country's business ambition and objectives.
∎ Define the pricing structure, validate the target customer and control its effective management.
∎ Develop loyalty of profitable customers at all tiers and participate in the development process of new products/services.
∎ Design the value proposition per segment (products, systems, services partnerships, distribution/delivery, pricing, branding, communications, etc) and monitor its implementation
∎ Ensure proper management of the commercial relationship with existing large corporate clients, government projects, and big contractors. Proactively contacting clients to maintain a consistent high level of service delivery, whilst identifying further new business opportunities.
∎ Meeting with key clients face to face to educate and promote the business. Keep relationship and liaison with Government Department, Contractors, Engineers, Architects and consultants to promote sales
∎ Coach Sales Field Force to build effective relationships that enable them to respond quickly to emerging customer opportunities, and provide for seamless execution of the company's business processes that exceed customer expectations.
∎ Design and set up the marketing & innovation organization of the country, which drives and contributes to the market strategy and profitable growth across all market segments (and all product lines) and the country Extra Mile ambitions.
∎ Responsible of developing the sales and marketing capabilities in cooperation with Country HR: skills & competencies (assessment and evaluation criteria, learning & development), talent pipeline, succession planning, career development, IDPs, anticipation of new needed skills and competencies for the country.
∎ Set up, follow up and control the yearly objectives of the country marketing & innovation teams. Challenge the commercial objectives and action plans for all product lines and strive for strong customer engagement and loyalty schemes and objectives.
∎ Direct market research as required to understand the needs of the direct and indirect customers, identify attractive market segment to serve and to measure the customer satisfaction while driving and strengthening the brands' equity.
∎ Drive and implement digital solutions ensuring the transformation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in managing several large national brands in cement or building material space.
∎ Experience working in diverse roles in building material space like cement, aggregates and steel marked by commended performance in sales & marketing, revenue & margin maximization, channel & brand Management, innovation and team building across B2B & B2C platforms.
∎ Agility to learn and implement digital sales and marketing tools.
∎ Understanding of consumer behavior, psychology and research methodology.
∎ Experience of handling multiple product portfolios.
∎ Agility to drive new products and businesses in addition keeping a very motivated and capable sales team on board.
∎ Experience in handling large teams of over 250 people and ability to build a highly engaged, motivated and enriched team and capability of motivating, coaching, mentoring and leading talented professionals.
∎ Skilled in conceptualizing & implementing strategies for generating and increasing sales, developing and expanding market share towards the achievement of revenue & profitability targets including several new and innovative product launches in steel and cement sector.
∎ Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
∎ Excellent problem solving, analytical skills.
∎ Passion and drive. Decision making at strategic and operational levels.
∎ Good business insight and maturity to be able to generate business as per opportunities.
∎ Self-starter with drive to achieve change even when confronted by obstacles.
∎ Able to influence stakeholders, demonstrating need for change.
