Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for Collection Officers (with Motorbike) to join our Collections team in Bangladesh. This role is responsible for recovering loans, phone installments, and other credit facilities from customers. The ideal candidate must have prior collection experience, strong negotiation skills, and a personal motorbike to perform field visits efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Collect loan repayments, EMI installments, and overdue balances from customers in assigned areas.
Conduct field visits to customer addresses to follow up on collections.
Negotiate repayment schedules with customers while maintaining professionalism.
Deliver payment reminders and provide accurate collection updates to the supervisor.
Maintain proper documentation of collections and submit daily reports.
Escalate cases of potential fraud or high-risk accounts to management.
Represent PalmPay in a professional manner while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in debt recovery, loan collection, or field collections (bank, MFI, fintech, or NBFC experience preferred).
Must own a motorbike with valid driving license.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet monthly collection targets.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools.
Willingness to travel extensively for field collections.
Fluency in Bangla; basic English communication preferred.
