Job Context:
∎ Reporting Person: S/she will be responsible for reporting to Program Coordinator.
∎ APARAJITA Working Areas (Cox`s Bazar, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Natore, Naogaon District)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning for community mobilization, Participatory Assessment and reporting:
∎ Assist to conduct baseline survey and reporting.
∎ Assist to APARAJITA Project staff in community mobilization activities, conduction of Participatory Assessment, preparation of community action plan and reporting.
∎ Assist to ensure participation of community peoples and other stakeholders in planning and implementation.
∎ Assist to prepare awareness program implementation plans.
∎ Assist and observe different days at working.
∎ Support in writing stories related to program and project developments as they relate to gender equality issues.
∎ Develop Capacity Building Tools and Monitoring:
∎ Preparing capacity building and training work plan and budget including training calendar of ToT and field level training of stakeholders in the Cluster in which S/he will be operating.
∎ Facilitate, conduct and manage the training and workshops at different level.
∎ Providing gender mainstreaming orientation at different levels.
∎ Prepare capacity building modules/curriculum/materials/handouts.
∎ Supervise and monitor the activities of the field staff and facilitators.
∎ Reporting and Documentation:
∎ Assist project staff to prepare community level reporting and documentation.
∎ Prepare/compilation all sorts of software reports related to capacity building and training.
∎ Report the achievements and results per capacity building activities after training conduction.
∎ Keep update the process and progress documentation in line with monitoring requirements.
∎ Assist to prepare donor report to Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator and Program Coordinator.
∎ Member of Capacity Development Group comprised by capacity building focal person of the NPNGOs and HELVETAS:
∎ S/he will actively participate in the meetings and activities of the Capacity Development group comprised by capacity building focal person of the NPNGOs and HELVETAS.
∎ Cooperating with the Capacity Development group in developing harmonized modules, materials, capacity development strategies and will prepare capacity development calendar for staffs of NPNGOs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years of work experience in designing and conducting the training under democracy and local governance project with local government.
∎ Should have knowledge of planning, designing, documentation and conducting the training, workshop at different levels.
∎ Experience in preparing training modules/curriculum/materials/handouts.
∎ Work experience in advocacy of the democracy and local governance project with local government.
∎ Knowledge to develop advocacy strategy, policy brief, review laws and policies, disseminate information and track progress against Indicators.
∎ Candidates must be familiar with Participatory Approach and excellent facilitation and communication skills.
∎ Monitoring and reporting on gender issues
∎ Provide technical support to the project team
∎ Ability to organize and manage training and workshop at local level.
∎ Good interpersonal skills, has demonstrated proactive roles in team work.
∎ Ability to write reports

Salary:
∎ Gross Salary : BDT 38,380

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Two festival bonuses equivalent to one month's basic salary for each will be paid after successful completion of 6 months' probation period. Costs in relation to any field work will be borne by the organization.
