Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's / Bachelor degree in Clinical Psychology / Counselling Psychology or equivalent degree with diploma in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution.

Job Context:
∎ The purpose of the assignment will be to support the Rohingya refugee communities living in Teknaf through providing MHPSS related support and providing technical support to the case management team as well. She will closely work with operation unit at Teknaf and Cox`s Bazar, GBV SS, CiC and relevant government officials, the sectoral partners, the national and international organizations engaged with Humanitarian Response Programme.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until February 28, 2021.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Psychologist is responsible for answer to the identified needs on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) issues. By providing, awareness raising session at community level, training to stakeholders, direct psychological and psychosocial support to the beneficiaries, produce regular reports on activities, assessments and follow-up.
∎ Ensure technical integrity of rehabilitation strategies, principles and elements into all CM-related activities and processes
∎ Developing/reforming MH checklists for CWs, providing support in need based reviews of Assessment checklists from MHPSS perspective.
∎ Provide technical on-demand support to all staff on mental health including PSS counselor.
∎ Provide support to case workers through participating in case discussions.
∎ Monitoring PSS Counselor's work and providing supervision to their mental health cases regularly.
∎ Ensure the complete and updated filing of beneficiary information, including follow- up visits and referrals.
∎ Answer to internal and referred beneficiaries for further psychological assessment through interview, observation and/or assessment scales and external referrals.
∎ Identify Psychological, emotional and behavioral difficulties; diagnose; develop action plan and provide psychological and psychosocial support at individual, group and family level.
∎ Refer beneficiaries with specific needs of specialized psychological support to external services and follow-up on all referrals, in coordination with the line manager, following the appropriate strategy of the project.
∎ Ensure clinical assessment where needed.
∎ Visit and discuss with beneficiaries before referring and ensuring mediation if needed with other stakeholders.
∎ Organize and implement more specific psychosocial support activities through different methods including mediation activities, creative or recreational activities, group discussions, group daily activities, etc.
∎ Participate to the discussions and decision-making in the frame of case management services of the project.
∎ Write specific reports for critical cases.
∎ Ensure psychological first aid services in emergency situations.
∎ Ensure the psychological and psychosocial follow-up of the beneficiaries.
∎ Organize and conduct training on MHPSS.
∎ Contribute to the mapping of relevant actors (referral network) and set up of referral systems to other services available.
∎ Conduct support groups with particular such as disabled, isolated/discriminated people, etc.
∎ When needed/possible, work with the partners and volunteers to create and implement psychosocial activities in the centers and at community level.
∎ Ensure a qualitative follow up of the beneficiaries participating to group activities.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Ensure a daily quantitative and qualitative reporting through the tools (assessment form, follow up form, group activity reporting tool, discharge form that includes the final assessment of the beneficiary's psychosocial status) and system in place.
∎ In formal and informal meetings with the team, participate to a qualitative analysis of the different kinds of issues, at individual, family and community level.
∎ Participate in a weekly meeting with other MHCP supervisors to address common issues, discuss, and agree on action plans for specific cases.
∎ Participate in the Case Management Committee.
∎ Provide weekly clinical individual and group supervision to MHPSS staff.
∎ Respect confidentiality regarding the content of clinical interviews, except when exchanging information with other team members to draw joint action plans in the best interest of the beneficiaries.
∎ Uphold humanitarian code of conduct and adhere to and promote humanitarian guiding principles.
∎ Comply with NGO Forum for Public Health's policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, gender & equality, humanitarian responsiveness and other relevant policies.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.
∎ Follow and maintain the disciplines properly as mentioned in the Service Rules of NGO Forum.
∎ Work in true-spirit of teamwork and preserve personal integrity and respecting the organizational hierarchy of accountability.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Fair knowledge on Rohingya Refugee context including protection GBV, Child, MHPSS, case management intervention in emergency/humanitarian situation.
∎ Sound knowledge on using different software related to data entry, analysis, report writing and preparing presentation etc.
∎ Ability to work hard, work under pressure in humanitarian response context, positive and can-do attitude and ability to understand local language.

Salary: Tk. 88000 (Monthly)
