Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Review daily letter of credit requirements posted in ISCM (integrated supply chain system) and start document creation in Banking platform.
∎ Thoroughly review that supporting documented has no errors and that information in purchase order, proforma invoice and others match with the letter of credit or telegraphic transfer request before entering banking system.
∎ After all documentation is collected, make data entry into banking system to create the letter of credit or telegraph transfer. Once created, update records in ISCM system.
∎ Issue daily report of created letter of credit and telegraphic transfers to trade coordinator and report of pending approvals to finance director and Supply Chain director.
∎ Collect copy documents from Supply Chain & Procurement and preparing shipping guarantee letter, then arrange to take sign from authorized persons prior to sending to Bank.
∎ After LC is approved by Bank. Issue digital copy to requestor by uploading it to ISCM system.
∎ Maintain filing system for physical records and digital copies in Gildan intranet for all transactions.
