Responsibilities & Context:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required, background in Education or Early Childhood Development preferred.
- A-Level with strong results will be also considered.
- HSC candidates with exceptional academic results and demonstrated teaching ability may also be considered for Assistant teacher position. (subject to a written and teaching demonstration at interview)
Experience:
- Homeroom position: minimum 2 years leading a classroom independently at pre-primary/LKG level, English-medium preferred.
- Assistant position: freshers encouraged to apply.
- Applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): School, Kindergarten, Madrasa, Religious Place.
Skills (required, will be tested during interview):
- Clear, fluent spoken English
- Clean, legible handwriting
- Play-based learning and craft activity experience
- No pending relocation or study-abroad plans within the next 12 months
*Responsibilities:*
- Conduct/support daily lessons in English, Maths, and Science for children aged 4–9
- Deliver instruction primarily in English
- Lead or assist with play-based learning activities and craft sessions
- Manage or support classroom behavior and discipline
- Track individual student progress and flag learning gaps early
- Collaborate with academic director and fellow teacher on planning and pacing
*Skills & Expertise:* Spoken English fluency, Classroom management, Play-based learning, Craft/activity planning.
