Educational Requirements:

∎ HAEFA is seeking a female BMDC-registered Chief NCD Consultant for their HAEFA Bangladesh Country Office Program, which focuses on reproductive healthcare and chronic diseases. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in performing VIA, Cervical Cancer Screening methods, managing hypertension, diabetes, and tuberculosis screening, and be proficient in generating reports and promoting health education. As the Chief NCD Consultant, she will be responsible for leading and coordinating with the organization`s efforts in managing and preventing NCDs, specifically focusing on HTN, DM, TB, and Cervical Cancer. She will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies, protocols, and guidelines to ensure the highest standards of care and effective management of these conditions. Additionally, she will provide clinical expertise, training, and mentorship to healthcare professionals, enabling them to deliver excellent patient care. Empathy towards individuals from disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds is considered a vital trait at HAEFA.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive NCD, CD, and Reproductive Healthcare programs and protocols, with a specific focus on HTN, and DM, TB, and Cervical Cancer.
∎ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish evidence-based guidelines for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of these conditions.
∎ Provide clinical oversight and guidance to healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
∎ Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize healthcare delivery.
∎ Stay abreast of the latest research, advancements, and guidelines in management of HTN, DM, TB, and Cervical Cancer.
∎ Conduct training sessions and educational programs for healthcare staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in HTN, DM, TB, and Cervical Cancer management.
∎ Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations, to promote collaboration and support in HTN, DM, TB, and Cervical Cancer prevention and control efforts.
∎ Supervise and deliver the medical teams on conventional VIA procedures, diagnosis, treatment, and patient referral/back-referral for Cervical Cancer, Hypertension, Diabetes, and Tuberculosis diseases into the public healthcare system.
∎ Contribute to the development of research projects and initiatives aimed at advancing knowledge and improving HTN, DM, TB, and Cervical Cancer management outcomes.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
∎ Maintain impartiality and confidentiality at all times
∎ Assist in overseeing project staff during medical camp training, seminars, and meetings.
∎ Assist with project reporting, data recording, and coordination within the project team and country office, and government and funding agencies.
∎ Perform other tasks assigned by the Country Office and Project Director.
