∎ LL.B (Honors) and LL.M from a UGC-approved or recognized foreign university.
∎ Masters in BAR at-Law or PhD will be preferred
∎ Enrollment as an advocate with the Bangladesh Bar Council.
∎ Having no 3rd division is allowed

∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in legal practice along with minimum 05 years in any Banks or Financial Institutions, preferably in banking, financial institutions, or corporate legal affairs.
∎ At least 5 years of experience in a senior legal leadership role.
∎ Extensive knowledge of banking laws, loan recovery processes, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide strategic legal guidance to the bank’s management, ensuring compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and other relevant laws.
∎ Oversee legal affairs, including litigation, contract management, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
∎ Manage and coordinate with external legal counsels and law firms for legal proceedings.
∎ Lead and supervise the legal team, ensuring effective risk mitigation strategies.
∎ Formulate policies for handling default cases, loan recoveries, and other legal matters.
∎ Represent the bank in legal forums, arbitration proceedings, and negotiations.
∎ Ensure the legal rights and interests of the bank are well protected.

∎ Key Responsibilities:
