Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overlook the departments (Finance, IT) and meet Depatment KPIs throughout the period.
∎ Ensure compliance on all prodcust/services handled as expected by all regulatory (local & international), statutory, principal requirements and policies.
∎ Ensure correct and complete process are introduced and followed/maintained in departments (Finance, IT), to achive the set goals of individuals, Departments and the group Goals/KPIs.
∎ Ensure reuqired manpower are determined and allocated for a smooth administration of all teams and recruitement plan are drawn, approved and recruitment are carried out in a timely manner to meet and day to day functions of the teams (Finance and IT).
∎ Bring in to effect and maintain a proper staff appraisal and performance review of the team members to enable effective team work and carrier growth.
∎ Supervise and assigned personnel, allocates work, performance appraisals, training and development of the Divisions (Finance and IT).
∎ Oversees all treasury activities including banking, investment, and liquidity management. Ensures the strategies comply with relevant statutes, regulations, and policies including the Risk Management Policy guidelines, IFRS and IAS guidelines, MMA requirements.
∎ Preparing and helping for the SBU heads to Annual Budgeting process by considering the historical financial information, current market conditions and forecasted market and economic conditions.
∎ Preparing and presentation of the accurate and timely historical financial information of the Group and present to relevant stakeholders including shareholders, analysts, creditors, employees and other members of management. Eg. Monthly Management Accounts (including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flows…), EDMC and CBR presentations, Audited Accounts.
∎ Maintain healthy financial conditions.
∎ Determine the best mix of debt, equity and internal financing and address the issues surrounding capital structure.
∎ Ensure that the TLM system is operating effectively and coordinate with ISD team to get the required improvements and developments done timely to meet group requirements.
∎ Ensure that the internal controls are designed, implemented and operating effectively throughout the year.
∎ Effectivly conduct the allocated regular meetings such as EDMCs, Debtors meeting..etc.
∎ Conduct the Division meeting (EDMC) focusing on service Improvements.
∎ Prepare monthly salaries and ensure the deposit by the deadlines.
∎ Ensure that all the IT related requirements are met as per the set KPIs by Advantis and make sure that all the IT infrastruture facility is working and maintained properly.
∎ Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ An associate member of ICASL/CIMA/ACCA or a University degree with a minimum 03 years of experience in similar capacity.
∎ Adequate knowledge of tax and related regulations both Sri Lanka and Maldives.
∎ Required knowledge about IFRS and IASs.
