Experience:
Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration from a reputed university.
Professional certification: ACA/FCA/FCCA/ACMA/FCMA (preferred).
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounts, and corporate governance.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO, GM-Finance, Head of Finance, or similar) in a listed/public company.
Experience in oil, refinery, energy, or manufacturing sector will be a strong advantage.
Practical knowledge of IPO, capital market, syndicated loans, LC operation, project finance, and BMRE.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
In-depth knowledge of IFRS/IAS, Companies Act, and Corporate Governance Code (BSEC).
Strong analytical, risk management, and financial modeling skills.
Expertise in ERP/Accounting software, MS Office, and financial reporting tools.
Ability to work under pressure and manage cross-functional teams.
Job Description (JD): The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in financial planning, risk management, and corporate governance in alignment with Lub-rref (Bangladesh) PLC’s long-term business objectives. The position requires a high level of integrity, financial expertise, and leadership capability to oversee the company’s overall financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulate and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth, BMRE, and refinery expansion projects.
Supervise financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance monitoring.
Ensure effective fund management including working capital, IPO funds, loan syndication, and banking relationships.
Maintain compliance with Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC), Bangladesh Bank, VAT, Tax, and other statutory bodies.
Oversee internal control systems, corporate governance, and risk management frameworks.
Lead finance and accounts teams to ensure timely financial reporting, statutory audit, and external audit compliance.
Develop financial models and investment appraisals for new projects (e.g., Grassroot Refinery Plant, Waste Oil Refinery).
Liaise with banks, financial institutions, regulators, and stakeholders for fundraising, syndication, and capital market activities.
Advise the Board of Directors on financial performance, investment opportunities, and risk factors.
Oversee dividend distribution policy, AGM/EGM financial presentation, and shareholder communication.
