Job Context:
∎ The main purpose of the position: Effective cost control, risk of financial management and organization of planning.
∎ The Basic Functions: As CFO, the Incumbent is responsible for managing the overall day-to-day operations and strategic functions of Finance, Accounts report, Tax and VAT and Bank finance department by monitoring a large group of employees in both the head office, factories and projects.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle group accounts and finance.
∎ Ensure and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial and other related reports to management.
∎ Costing, Fund Management, Payroll Management, Investment, Tax and VAT, Banking issues, budget, productions analysis, Inventory, Business Planning analysis, CapEx analysis, new project analysis, Cost Control and Asset Management.
∎ As a head of accounts and finance, accountable for the entire financial and risk management operations of the companies, including the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
∎ The position is accountable for the ongoing analysis of the process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis and tracing costs back to underlying activities and constructing and monitoring those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to the Matrix Management.
∎ Manage the accounting, revenue collection, billing, banks, investor relations, legal, tax and treasury departments.
∎ Annual business plan.
∎ Group/ Company/ Departmental budgeting.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have a good connection with NBR/ Govt. Taxation & VAT Department.
∎ Should have good knowledge of companies Act & RJSC matters.
∎ Should have knowledge of corporate Governance and Corporate Affairs in accordance with applicable laws/ regulations in Bangladesh.
∎ Should be knowledgeable in international Financial Reporting Standards, International Accounting Standards, The Companies Act, The Banking Companies Act, Tax Ordinance, VAT Act. Laws, Regulations & guidelines of Bangladesh Bank and Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission and other related laws.
∎ Unquestioned Commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.
∎ Well-conversed with modern payment and collection systems.
