About the Company

A large, fast-growing Bangladeshi conglomerate having operation both in local and overseas market with diversified operations across manufacturing, trading, and consumer industries is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Leadership

• Lead the overall financial strategy of the Group, ensuring strong financial discipline and long-term sustainability.

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.

• Provide strategic insights to the Board and senior management for business expansion and new investments.

Fundraising & Investment Execution

• Raise capital from domestic and international sources—banks, financial institutions, private credit funds, and strategic investors.

• Structure and execute investment in brownfield projects in Bangladesh, India, and other Asian markets.

• Manage relationships with lenders, investment partners, and rating agencies,

Core Finance Functions

• Supervise Accounting, Financial Reporting, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Tax functions.

• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.

• Strengthen internal control systems across the Group.

Risk Management & Governance

• Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and investment risks.

• Establish strong governance practices across subsidiaries.

• Oversee audit processes and ensure transparent reporting.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

• Post-graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

• Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles.

• Proven expertise in fundraising, corporate finance, and cross-border transactions.

• Experience working in large conglomerates or multi-entity business groups.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Deep understanding of financial modeling, project financing, and investment evaluation.

• Ability to lead diverse finance teams across multiple geographies.
