Job Context:
∎ A reputed organization is looking for a dynamic and proactive Chief Executive Officer for Trading Business (Purchase & Sales) who will be responsible to make major decisions and manage the overall operations of the trading business. He will be also responsible to manage international trading of basic commodities such as soyabean oil (crude refined), refined sugar, red lentil, onion, dates, pulses etc.
∎ Employment Status: Permanent.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and supervise trade of basic commodities which value will be minimum 1000 crore taka per year.
∎ Oversee and successfully manage international trading of basic commodities such as soyabean oil (crude refined), refined sugar, red lentil, onion, dates, pulses etc.
∎ Administer and undertake the purchase of commodities from international and local market at competitive price.
∎ Develop and manage data bank of global and local price history of commodities, demand & supply trend, manufacturing facilities, crops harvesting information across the countries.
∎ Expertise in selling commodities in bulk profit.
∎ Participate and manage tender activities invited by both Govt. and non-Govt. agency.
∎ Manage the sales team for selling commodities in wholesale market, manufacturers, and traders.
∎ Maintain excellent relationship with traders, wholesalers, and make ethical peer ship with them.
∎ Proficiently conduct the import process customs clearing, warehousing, and transportation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 12 years of experience in import, sales purchase, and sales of basic commodities from overseas and local market.
∎ Experience in international trading of basic commodities is required for this position.
∎ Excellent in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ A self-motivated and proactive person who believes to take the lead.
∎ Willingness to roam to achieve business objectives.
∎ An assertive approach and a good team player.
∎ Ability to engage with diverse groups of people.
∎ Ability to support business and practice development efforts.
