• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA(C.C), or CMA (Intermediate Level)will preferred.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Overseeing the accounting team, Mentor, coach, and develop accounting staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial statement preparation, reconciliation, and analysis. 
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and initiatives.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
• Advising business owners and individuals on the tax code.
• Working with external auditors to ensure the company's financial dealings are transparent and accountable Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Participating in negotiations with banking institutions. 
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in financial management processes.
