Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a knowledgeable Chemical Technologist who will be responsible for performing various lab experiments to determine chemical compositions. Besides, you will also be coordinating your day-to-day activities and taking instructions from the Chemical Engineer.
∎ As a part of the job role, the candidate must have to create technical reports, charts, and graphs. Moreover, you should be able to keep a track of the equipment and materials inventories. Your analytical and troubleshooting abilities will prove useful in identifying and solving any issues at hand.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct chemical experiments and tests using chromatography, spectroscopy, physical and chemical separation techniques and microscopy.
∎ Perform routine chemical tests on solids, liquids and gases to assist in the manufacturing of company products
∎ Report test results in notebooks and computer databases
∎ Use laboratory equipment; prepare solutions of gas or liquid, reagents, and sample formulations.
∎ Keep records and interpret the results of experiments.
∎ Develop programs for sampling and analyzing to maintain quality standards of raw materials, chemical intermediates and products.
∎ Help design and build experimental equipment.
∎ Any other related tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must be interested to work at factory in a local chemical company
∎ Experience and clear technical knowledge must be required.
∎ Industry-specific knowledge is preferable.
∎ Speak, read and write English.
∎ Understand and follow analysis procedures.
∎ Know the properties of different chemicals and substances.
∎ Ability to comprehend and efficiently carry out instructions in oral, written or diagram format
∎ Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to multitask
∎ Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and email software.
