Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall, in Charge for Bangladesh Cuisine
∎ Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.
∎ Process and follow protocols in accordance to ISO 22000 standards.
∎ Estimate food requirements and food costs and labor costs
∎ Plan for manpower requirements in the kitchen to ensure smooth flow of work whilst maintaining efficiencies and costs savings.
∎ Supervise kitchen staff's activities/ specially food packing (Packet Meals, Buffet, Live Stations & Mini Buffets).
∎ Restocks all items as needed throughout shift and order requirement
∎ To ensure that all food items are being prepared according to the Kitchen Schedule
∎ Food are to prepared in accordance to the quality & quantity
∎ Ensure the Food Hygiene & Health and Safety Regulations are always adhered to
∎ Take note of any special dietary needs
∎ Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills according to SFA Guidelines
∎ Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
∎ Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station.
∎ Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
