Educational Requirements:
∎ HSC / Equivalent degree.
Job Context:
∎ Social and Economic Enhancement Program (SEEP) is a Child Rights Based Non-Government Organization established in 1986. SEEP works for the empowerment and participation of disadvantaged and victim children in Bangladesh (both boys and girls, including children with different abilities), and their parents and community, so that they can protect and promote child rights.
∎ SEEP is going to implement "Safe Back to School Community based Integrated Case Management Project" under the supervision of Save the Children International. This project will be implemented at Mirpur and Dhamsona Union in Dhaka District. The aim of the Community based integrated case management model is to encourage community members including child protection committees, school management committees, parent teacher associations and community health workers, to promote children`s attendance at school and work together to holistically address barriers to education.
∎ Duration: Duration of the contract will be up to 30th June, 2022.
∎ Position Title: Case Worker under Safe Back to School Community level Integrated Case Management (SB2S CCM) Project
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide direct psychosocial and practical support to the child and his/her family as well as liking them to the most appropriate services and community support.
∎ Conduct vulnerability mapping/assessment to identify most marginalized children who are already dropped/at risk of drop from school in project locations.
∎ Ensure the identification, registration, assessment, case planning, and referral, direct service provision towards follow up for vulnerable and at-risk children.
∎ Establish effective relationships with children, parents, teachers, SMC members, community people, slum leaders, local duty bearers, and service providers.
∎ Visit and meet key community members to inspire and engage them in SB2S intervention.
∎ Conduct mapping of services in the target area.
∎ Assist in organizing Case conference if needed.
∎ Provide essential information on available services and support survivors in navigating the referral pathways and accessing services.
∎ Respect confidentiality regarding the context of case management intervention, except when exchanging information with other team members to draw joint action plans in the best interest of the beneficiaries.
∎ Assess risks in the field and consider possible risk management strategies. Document all program and beneficiary's activity in an accurate and timely manner using standardized tools and forms. Participate in data collection, mapping exercises, and organize interviews and group discussions.
∎ Work with the safeguarding focal point to assess risks and local mitigation
∎ Ensure data protection complying internal protocols.
∎ Maintain the high standard to organize community mobilization related activities in the field.
∎ Make need assessment of the beneficiary for capacity development
∎ Arrange/ Recommend training for the project beneficiary, duty bearers, and service providers
∎ Orient child safeguarding policy of SEEP and SCI for everyone concerned at every meeting or gathering
∎ Undertake any other duties that may be determined by the supervisor.

∎ Ability to work in slum/community.
∎ Conduct mapping of services in the target area.
∎ Experience on beneficiary selection from community.
