Job Context:
∎ Organization for the Poor Community Advancement "OPCA" is a local voluntary, non-profitable, non-political and development organization in Bangladesh. It started journey from Mirsarai Upazila under Chittagong district in 1992. Now OPCA is working in Chittagong region i.e. Chittagong, Cox`s Bazar, Noakhali, Laxmipur, Chandpur, Brahmanbari district and CHT.
∎ Since August 2017, the heavy influx of Rohingya refugees into Cox`s Bazaar has required an emergency response in accordance with OPCA`s humanitarian mandate to meet the needs of crisis-affected populations in the poorest communities. OPCA is going to implemented GBV Project for Myanmar Refugee Response under partnership with CARE Bangladesh which funded by Germany Ministry of Foreign Affairs. To responding the crisis and effectively oversee all operations of the project need to recruit of some Case Worker.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Case worker responsible for conducting all GBV prevention and outreach activities, including door to door visits, engaging men and boys and key community stakeholders on GBV issues and improving the safety of women and girls in the community, training and working with the Community Outreach Groups (COGs) and volunteers, conducting safety audits and community risk mappings and disseminating important GBV prevention messaging throughout the community.
∎ Work with the Prevention Officer and Volunteers to develop awareness-raising sessions for the community on women's rights and other relevant issues as identified by the team.
∎ Support the coordination of awareness-raising sessions that target adolescent girls.
∎ Report the GBV concerns of adolescent girls/women in the camps to the Prevention Officer.
∎ Support dissemination of information on existing WGSS services including working with other service providers to ensure community is aware of the available services.
∎ Support the Prevention Officer and the Volunteer's in conducting and required assessment, rapid gender assessment, safety audits and community risk mappings and working closely with the Community Outreach Groups (COGs) to build their capacity.
∎ Support WGSS team referral services for cases requiring monitoring, recording and reporting.
∎ Actively contribute to sharing and exchanging information on all women's protection concerns or rights violations including individual cases.
∎ Perform all other duties, as needed or requested by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ 1-2 years' experience with a minimum of one year's work experience of GBV in emergencies, protection, and gender programming.
∎ Excellent communication and group facilitation skills.
∎ Knowledgeable in GBV and women's rights.
∎ Practical experience working with refugees, IDPs, women and girls, and implementing programs in vulnerable communities.
∎ Understands the challenges and obstacles women and girls face regarding cultural practices, norms, and society pressures.
∎ Understands sensitivities of conducting outreach and awareness on violence related issues.
∎ Ability to communicate sensitively and without judgment.
∎ Positive and professional attitude, including ability to work well in team setting.
∎ Emotional maturity and stability to deal with conflict and confrontation in non- violent way and maintain appropriate boundaries.
∎ Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, ethnicity, and age sensitivity and adaptability.
∎ Excellent communication skills to work with community members and leaders on sensitive topics.
∎ REQUIRED: Fluent communication skills in both verbal and written Bangla, Rohingya/Chitagonian. English advantage.

Salary: Tk. 19900 (Monthly)
