∎ Demonstrated experiences of at least 3 years in legal practice in the court or as in similar case management position in any reputed NGO/ INGOs
∎ Excellent skills in providing explanation of legal provisions
∎ In-depth knowledge on arbitration system, judiciary system, court procedures, village court, legal aid committee etc.
∎ Good understanding of migrant’s rights and laws related to migrant workers in Bangladesh.
∎ Experience in working on migration, anti-trafficking or modern slavery projects/programs.
∎ Experience in adaptive management
∎ Self-motivated, proactive and target oriented
∎ Good report writing along with analytical skills
∎ Excellent problem-solving skills
∎ Self-starter, proactive, positive and target oriented
∎ Capability of working in challenging and demanding situations.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overall implementation of the case management activities in line with project work plan and budget and in compliance with organizational and donor policies.
∎ Work with team members both at head office and field office with following professional manners
∎ Receive, analyze, refer, and follow up cases/ complaints.
∎ Provide feedback to field staff on Case Identification and update on the process to share with beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure documentation on cases including input in online database and undertake M&E functions as required
∎ Provide required services to the sick returnee migrants at the airport, shelter home and any places where required
∎ Assist other team members to provide medical support, counseling support and legal support to the beneficiaries
∎ Take regular field visit to assess the cases, follow up and meet with respective service providers
∎ Organize and facilitation of CTCs, Stakeholders meeting/workshop/orientations etc.
∎ Contribute to different material and module development under the component.
∎ Co-facilitates relevant thematic PDO/PDT sessions in collaboration with field officers.
∎ Cooperate Field Officer & Community Mobilizer for ensuring component wise inputs effectively and share all update to the senior management
∎ Ensure regular monthly report to the Project Manager and keep close coordination with field officers and Community Mobilizers
∎ Establish and maintain professional relationship and collaboration with different government and non-government service provider organizations, migrant communities, and facilitate referrals of the migrant workers if needed
∎ Prepare quarterly and annual narrative reports on the provided services in line with the project inputs, outputs and impacts
∎ Prepare success stories of individual case, lessons learned, and good practice bi-annual basis
∎ Ensure high standards in financial and logistics management to meet accountability and transparency
∎ Represent OKUP when and where necessary

∎ Project/Program: OKUP – CLAIM Project
∎ Probation Period: 3 months
∎ Job Type: Contractual – Initially for One Year. (Extendable based on performance and available fund)
∎ Reported to : Project Manager
∎ Job Location: Dhaka (Need to visit field offices in a regular basis)
