Role Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for generating new business, leading a team of sales executives, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving overall revenue growth.
You will act as the face of the company—presenting our products, demonstrating value, and negotiating deals with prospective clients.
Your ability to understand software products and communicate their benefits to clients will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition
- Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations.
- Proactively engage in networking, industry events, and market outreach.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the sales & business development executives.
- Assign targets, monitor performance, and ensure goal achievement.
- Conduct regular training, coaching, and capability building for the team.
Product Expertise & Solution Selling
- Understand company products—including ERP, software modules, automation systems, and digital services.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical discussions.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to design customized solutions.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience through timely follow-ups and support.
- Maintain strong, long-term business relationships that lead to repeat business.
Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate terms, scope, and service agreements confidently.
- Close deals while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
