Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier onboarding strategy for Health & Beauty, Groceries, Mother & Baby categories with a strong bias toward scalable, high-growth partnerships.

  • Drive sourcing and acquisition of top-tier local, regional, and global FMCG brands, focusing on assortment diversity and pricing competitiveness.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, and Category Management teams to streamline operations, optimize delivery models, and reduce lead times.

  • Develop and execute pipeline-building strategies through market mapping, trade visits, and networking with distributors, importers, and manufacturers.

  • Own commercial negotiations, onboarding terms, and supplier relationship management to ensure long-term value.

  • Monitor category performance KPIs (GMV, orders, fulfillment rate) and identify gaps to continuously optimize supply health and partner engagement.

  • Stay up to date with market trends and competitor moves in the FMCG industry, especially in H&B and groceries.

Requirements :

  • Graduation in any discipline from any Reputed University

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Business Development, FMCG Category Management, or Supply Chain/Sourcing roles.

  • Proven experience in supplier onboarding, trade partnerships, or vendor development within the Health & Beauty and Grocery space.

  • Solid understanding of FMCG distribution models, inventory planning, and order fulfillment.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable growth plans.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience working in a tech-first, fast-paced environment (Modern Trade,e-commerce background is a strong plus).
