∎ Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
∎ Source and qualify high-potential investment opportunities aligned with Fortuna Future's investment thesis, focusing on the USA market. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and disruptive technologies within the USA market specific to our focus areas. Develop and maintain relationships with key players in the USA venture capital ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, angel investors, and investment banks. Manage and prioritize a deal pipeline, conducting due diligence and preparing compelling investment proposals. Track industry trends and competitor activity within the USA, staying abreast of the latest developments in your assigned sectors. Collaborate with the investment team to evaluate potential deals and present findings effectively. Manage and analyze deal flow data to identify patterns and optimize sourcing strategies specifically for the USA market. Participate in virtual industry conferences, networking events, and startup pitch days relevant to the USA market (flexible schedule within working hours).

∎ Business Development Associate:
∎ Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and track promising startups within the firm's focus areas, with a particular focus on the USA market. Build and maintain databases of potential investment opportunities, including startups, investors, and industry leaders within the USA. Assist the team with deal sourcing activities, qualification, and due diligence specific to the global market. Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials to support the investment team. Manage and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems to ensure accurate data. Provide logistical support for the Business Development team, including scheduling virtual meetings (flexible schedule within working hours).

∎ Qualifications (For Both Roles): Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (MBA preferred for BDM role). Minimum 3 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, or a relevant field (more experience required for BDM role). Strong understanding of the venture capital landscape and investment process, with a specific focus on the USA market. Proven ability to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in financial modeling, market research, and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to effectively manage workload within designated working hours.
