JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Vehicle Maintenance & Technical Supervision

• Oversee the routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of all company vehicles, transport units, and automobile equipment with company drivers

• Ensure vehicles remain in safe, roadworthy, and efficient operating condition at all times.

Diagnostic & Troubleshooting

• Identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related faults through technical inspection and diagnostic analysis.

• Recommend and implement corrective maintenance measures to minimize downtime.

Preventive Maintenance Planning

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for vehicles, generators, tractors, and other mechanical equipment.

• Monitor maintenance logs, service intervals, and spare parts replacement timelines.

Fleet Management Support

• Supervise the company’s vehicle fleet operations, including cars, trucks, pickups, tractors, and utility vehicles.

• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, repair costs, and operational efficiency.

Spare Parts & Inventory Control

• Manage spare parts requirements, procurement recommendations, and stock records for vehicle maintenance.

• Ensure timely availability of critical components and consumables.

Technical Inspection & Compliance

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, legal fitness requirements, and company operational policies.

• Coordinate vehicle registration, insurance, tax token, and fitness certification renewals.

Workshop Supervision

• Supervise workshop technicians, mechanics, and support staff.

• Ensure repair works are carried out efficiently and in accordance with technical standards.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Prepare maintenance budgets, repair cost estimates, and technical reports for management review.

• Monitor cost efficiency and recommend measures for reducing maintenance expenses.

Emergency Breakdown Support

• Provide immediate technical support and response in case of vehicle breakdowns or operational emergencies.

Documentation and Report

• Always update the company’s all vehicles documentation and report to the management.
