• Proven experience as an audio engineer, preferably in audiobook production.

• Proficiency in sound editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Audacity).

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

• Attention to detail and a passion for storytelling through sound.

• Degrees in Music Technology or Audio Production (Preferable)
  

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Setup: 

• Connect, configure, and test audio recording equipment.
• Ensure the equipment is set up safely and on time.

Recording, Editing, and Mixing: 

• Record voiceovers, Foley sounds, and audio tracks.
• Edit and mix multi track recordings to create polished final audio files.

Sound Level Adjustment: 

• Monitor and adjust sound levels to enhance auditory quality and consistency.

Troubleshooting: 

• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Collaboration: 

• Work closely with the production team to meet sound design requirements.
• Adapt to creative directions and feedback during the production process.

Equipment Maintenance: 

• Organize and maintain audio recording and editing equipment.
• Perform routine repairs and upkeep of the sound recording systems.

Staying Current with Trends: 

• Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in audio technology.
• Implement innovative sound techniques to enhance production quality.

Adhering to Protocols: 

• Follow industry-standard safety protocols and regulations.

Attention to Detail: 

• Ensure all elements of sound production meet quality standards.
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation for all projects.
