Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Rising Group, a leading manufacturer and exporter of Apparel & Attire from Bangladesh, is equipped with the latest machinery with 06 knit & 01 woven Garments manufacturing units in Mirpur, Ashulia, Dhamrai and Gazipur. The Group also owns textile units & two spinning mills having an area of two productions of knit fabric, dyeing, finishing, washing, one printing, button, and thread manufacturing units.
∎ We are looking for an Assistant Designer with knowledge of fashion design, especially in all kinds of knit items & woven-bottom garments.
∎ To create designs for Men's, Women's, and Children's wear with all types of complicated prints, plaid patterns, all types of stripes & different textured looks for different seasons.
∎ To provide trend analysis of colors, styles, and details utilizing different design sources & global trend research and meet up global trends, apparel, fabrics & graphic design, and implementation.
∎ To research seasonal fashion trend direction, assortment opportunities, and current market trends in garment decoration processes for art locations & techniques and adopt new art/technique concepts according to technical skill set.
∎ To responsible for tracking changes/additions, and clear timely communication with cross-function partners across merchandiser managers & technical teams.
∎ To create visual concepts of graphic and print/embroidery artwork by hand or translate them using computer software.
∎ To analyze and clear understating of design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs.
∎ To maintain competitiveness means keeping an eye on developing trends and on what the competitors are doing.
∎ To maintain close relationships with the marketing and merchandising team to create ranges for all customers. Knowledge of using tools to perform Clipping Path, Photo Retouching, Photo Manipulation, and Image Editing.
∎ To visualize and then create a design with the help of Computer-aided Design. (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator).
∎ Must have knowledge on CLO 3D software
∎ To understand design from a practical and technical outlook.
