Additional Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in livestock services, vaccination programs, or field-level veterinary operations (experience in Microfinance/Insurance programs will be an added advantage).

• Fresh graduates with a strong interest and knowledge in livestock services are also encouraged to apply.

• Sound knowledge of livestock health, vaccination protocols, and farmer engagement practices.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Coordinate and implement vaccination programs under the Microfinance Livestock Insurance Program. Ensure proper scheduling and coverage of vaccination activities.

• Maintain and manage all logistics required for vaccination activities. Ensure timely distribution and availability of vaccines, equipment, and supplies.

• Regularly update vaccination records and prepare progress reports. Maintain accurate data on dairy farmers and vaccinated livestock.

• Maintain effective coordination with Microfinance (MF) and Artificial Insemination Enterprise (AIE) teams. Act as a liaison between AI Service Providers and program teams for smooth activity implementation.

• Regularly follow up on MF vaccination progress and farmer-level outcomes. Identify challenges and recommend solutions for effective field operations.

• Assign AI Service Providers for vaccination and related field activities. Maintain strong relationships with service providers to ensure quality service delivery.

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
