Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Administer, operate, and troubleshoot traditional, converged, and hyper-converged infrastructures (Dell, HP, Cisco, Lenovo), including CAN and traditional networks.
∎ Administer and troubleshoot RISC/CISC environments, including Windows, Linux, and UNIX (AIX, Solaris).
∎ Manage high availability and clustering (HACMP/Power HA, Pacemaker) and virtualization (LPAR, LDOM, VIOS, VMware, OLKVM, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
∎ Leverage automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI) for infrastructure automation.
∎ Oversee storage systems, middleware (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Glassfish), and infrastructure automation using Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Jenkins, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI).
∎ Perform health checks and ensure service capacity and system availability.
∎ Adhere to ITIL practices and address audit issues promptly.
∎ Provide 24/7 support for hardware, OS, and backup systems.
∎ Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, patching, and firmware updates.
∎ Manage vendors and multipurpose hardware/software solutions.
∎ Proactively ensure infrastructure stability and update documentation, processes, and procedures.
