Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in English, Communication, Journalism, Development Studies, Public Administration, International relation, Marketing, or any other social science related field with English medium background is preferred for the position.

∎ Job Summary:
∎ FFB is seeking an experienced and ambitious professional for the position of Associate: Communication and Outreach for the FFB Phase-II project activity funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
∎ The hired person will ensure development, executing and delivery of high-quality contents in FFB`s owned media channels. The ideal candidate should be skilled in writing, editing, proofreading, formatting and finalizing various documents, including donor reports, case studies, press release, blogs, articles with a view to strengthening clarity and quality of the content. The Associate: Communication and Outreach will develop and manage FFB`s content strategy, interact with team members and build new opportunities across stakeholder engagement activities. The Associate: Communication and Outreach will be an expert writer and editor and possess great analytical skills.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibilities and Tasks & % of Time:
∎ A: Writing and editing contents 30%
∎ Writing and editing program reports, case studies, press release, blogs, articles, meeting minutes and proceeding with high standard style, readability and consistency.
∎ Writing concept notes, monthly reports and media articles to feature project activities with external audience.
∎ Copy writing and editing for print and brand promotional materials.
∎ Edit case studies, success stories and other project documents as required.
∎ Translating contents in Bangla and English as required.
∎ B: Publishing website and social media contents 30%
∎ Developing content management and publishing plan and calendar for website and social media.
∎ Publish and manage FFB social media platforms and website contents.
∎ Integrating digital media into other form of communication and outreach activities outlined in the project.
∎ Managing content publishing system to increase web traffic and maximize FFB's reach across different social media platforms.
∎ Tracking and evaluating audience engagement with the published contents.
∎ C: Assisting communication team in communication and outreach activities 20%
∎ Assisting the line manager and communication team to develop tools, policies and guidelines for communications and outreach activities.
∎ Representation FFB in internal and external communication.
∎ Assisting the team to prepare pre-event planning.
∎ Ensures effective engagement and participation of youth groups by organizing regular meetings and implementing other planned activities.
∎ D: Reporting, stakeholder list management and assisting CEO in internal and external communication. 20%
∎ Content management and archiving, reporting senior management.
∎ Developing weekly and monthly website and social media engagement report.
∎ Developing and maintaining stakeholder contact list.
∎ Assisting CEO for internal and external communication along with managing meeting calendar.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Expertise:
∎ State-of-art knowledge and expertise in the field of writing and editing contents to address range of issues related to the project goals.
∎ Has excellent working knowledge of digital media, including social media platforms and process.
∎ Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of project communication strategy, target audience.
∎ Highly effective writing style and expertise in reaching internal and external audience with appropriate messaging.
∎ Experience:
∎ 2 to 3 years' relevant work experience is required for this position. Applicants demonstrating high skill and standard in writing and editing contents will be shortlisted for the interview with shorter experience period.
∎ Competencies:
∎ Strong editorial background and proofreading skills.
∎ Experience adhering to editorial and technical style guides.
∎ Professional level fluency in English and Bangla is required.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce quality work in a short time, within deadlines and under pressure.
∎ Computer proficiency including Internet and Microsoft Office.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and sound judgment.
∎ Familiarity with international development issues is desirable.
∎ Good understanding of the agriculture, food and nutrition issues is preferred.
