∎ Exposure and competency in all types of garments with high embellishments, prints and washing
∎ Familiarity with relevant quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, AQL standards, GOTS) and local regulatory requirements
∎ Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Understand customers fabric and finish product quality, fit, test, measurement, and packing requirements.
∎ Conduct fabric, sample and style handover meeting with factories and suppliers.
∎ Maintain communication and liaison between factory and business unit team.
∎ Ensure maintenance of utmost quality and customer’s specifications throughout the production process.
∎ Coordinate with Production Planning & Control (PPC) team to assist in composing the best production planning.
∎ Ensure utmost quality in initial and bulk production by maintaining least wastage.
∎ Design, plan and strictly follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
∎ Involve in sampling and pre-production process and liaise with merchandisers and vendors to do proper handover to ensure first time sample approval.
∎ Check and verify whether all technical requirements (grading, tests, etc.) are matched with customers’.
∎ Implement and verify Product safety requirements in factories to avoid potential risks.
∎ Verify Fitting and Quality check according to order specification, to avoid defects and enable sample approval.
∎ Cross check and confirm grading of the size set and conduct proper pre-production meeting after the approval of PPS and the size set.
∎ Check for final approval of Fabrics & Trim Card.
∎ Conduct Line review/First Bulk review meeting in cases of complicated orders to avoid defective outcome.
∎ Check for Fabric & Trims Consumption and analyze the data to reach optimized costing.
∎ Ensure Quality Auditor (QA) and Quality Controller (QC) are getting complete style files with details and sample approval as per Time & Action (T&A).
∎ Follow up on production and quality verification schedules to meet shipment deadlines.
∎ Analyze Customer requirements and provide technical support where needed to maintain smooth liaison.
∎ Work with the DQM and Quality General Manager to plan and provide required training to Quality team, to update and enhance their skills on technical, quality and operational capabilities.
∎ Implement knowledge on product safety while selecting relevant Trims to minimize hazard.
∎ Plan Daily & Weekly Inspections and generate report accordingly.
∎ Monitor initial layout setting & production process to avoid defective final products.
∎ Conduct random audits to ensure that the PPS and Size Set comments are implemented in bulk production through first bulk review and understand gaps to ensure remedial actions are taken.

∎ Job Context
∎ The incumbent is accountable for managing the entire quality assurance process, in order to ensure excellence regarding product and material quality. The Assistant Manager is required to troubleshoot and employ solutions in order to guarantee excellence in quality, as well as to maintain all relevant testing parameters. Structuring, training and guiding the Quality team and partner vendors, as well as ensuring their adherence to all the quality assurance Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines are also key functions of the role.
