Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Social Science (BSS), Bachelor degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation & Management of Field Level Activities-55%
∎ Ensure the implementation of all livelihood-related components of the project;
∎ Assist the project team to provide technical support on livelihood-related activities;
∎ Collect and analyze information on the context for livelihoods;
∎ Assist the project participants to open an individual bank account;
∎ Conduct livelihood analysis at the village and household level;
∎ Develop individual, need-based, and appropriate household business plan;
∎ Design individual, need-based, and appropriate IGA training plan;
∎ Provide IGA training for project participants;
∎ Follow up IGA of each project participant;
∎ Prepare a service map of the area;
∎ Design and develop new IGA training as per the need of project participants;
∎ Assist in vocational training for 15+ girls;
∎ Facilitate to form SHGs;
∎ Facilitate quarterly/ monthly sessions/meetings;
∎ Mobilize SHG-led savings;
∎ Conduct community consultation and need assessment for economic productivity;
∎ Build capacity of SHG leaders on leadership, SHG management, and financial management;
∎ Ensure the numeracy and literacy education of SHG members;
∎ Advocacy, Networking, and Communication-25%
∎ Create linkages with Union Parishad & Upazila to bring the project participants under various Govt. social protection schemes;
∎ Create linkage with employers & entrepreneurs for job placement of the selected girls;
∎ Establish networking with local GO, NGO bodies and link their facilities with our project participants;
∎ Establish linkage with local service providers;
∎ Enhance market linkage and value addition;
∎ Stimulate civil society members;
∎ Strengthen existing community groups & networks
∎ Reporting and Documentation-10%
∎ Ensure accurate record-keeping and systematic documentation & filing;
∎ Provide information for monthly, interim and final reports;
∎ Collect case stories from the field;
∎ Document lesson learnings;
∎ Maintain proper process documentation - event reports, success stories, education reports, etc
∎ Materials Development-5%
∎ Develop livelihood-related materials;
∎ Develop a training module on IGA training;
∎ Others-5%
∎ Responsible for following the compliance of IR policies and other relevant sector codes of good practices including administrative, health, safety, and security policies and frameworks project implantation area.
∎ Regularly review the existing guidelines and adding new ones as necessary to ensure compliance with legislation or where desirable as good practice.
∎ Responsible for seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if require.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.
