Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Social Science (BSS), Bachelor degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation & Management of Field Level Activities-40%
∎ Implement field activities as per project implementation/annual plan;
∎ Identify the entry points & supports for effective implementation to ensure the expected achievement of overall results;
∎ Ensure the logistics in coordination with local procurement committee and the quality of training/workshops/meetings/project-related events;
∎ Develop concept notes for various events;
∎ Select beneficiaries/project participants following the criteria mentioned in orphan sponsorship policy;
∎ Provide technical support for collecting data of post-sponsored children and compile the data for sharing;
∎ Ensure all requirements set by the program management for finalizing the agreement between the family of the selected orphan children and IR;
∎ Ensure the accuracy of bank account numbers of the new orphans and report to IRCO;
∎ Visit each orphan family at least once a year for collecting the well being information of the sponsored child as well as observe how the project outcome is contributing to transformational changes in their lives at the community level;
∎ Ensure quality APRs within the deadline set by the program management and comply with the prescribed guidelines to Al-yateem system;
∎ Conduct Self Help Group (SHG) assessment at least once in a year;
∎ Monitor SHG savings process and the maintain Qard- al-Hasana;
∎ Ensure individual IGA planning for the families of all sponsored children;
∎ Send continuation & termination requests within timeline to program management on monthly basis;
∎ Ensure the regular update of sponsorship information in the Al-yateem system;
∎ Ensure the monitoring & follow-up of performance of all Child Clubs;
∎ Send guardian change request to program management timely with proper justification & rationale;
∎ Ensure orphan's assessment in every three years and preserve the necessary information at respective orphan's file following the scoring format of IRW-prescribed guidelines
∎ Monitoring & evaluation, and Knowledge Management-15%
∎ Ensure day-to-day observation, monitoring, and follow-up of all field activities mentioned in the annual action plan and directed by the program management;
∎ Conduct regular team meetings and share the knowledge & findings to ensure effective program implementation;
∎ Assist the program management and MEAL team to conduct research, study, data collection, and impact assessment as per (MEAL) framework and ensure quality implementation;
∎ Take initiative to make the CRM (Complaint Response Mechanism) active and monitor regularly, and circulate other Govt. hotline services (i.e. 999, 333, 109);
∎ Conduct program risks assessment and shares the mitigation strategy with program management regularly;
∎ Manage various audits (external & internal) and queries from different agencies regarding the respective field office as per the organizational requirement;
∎ Financial Management-5%
∎ Manage project finance & budget (i.e. Bill, vouchers, PR, money requisition, cash advance, etc.) following organizational tools & system;
∎ Maintain oversight of grant disbursement to direct beneficiaries as well as other contractual aspects of the program, and provide the required support to ensure financial reports as per the requirement of program management
∎ Staff Management & Capacity Building-10%
∎ Manage, supervise and support the field staffs in conducting their assigned responsibilities as well as play a mentoring role as required;
∎ Ensure the required capacity of respective field staffs in delivering qualitative output, and properly acknowledge their performance (annual performance appraisal, daily attendance, field movement register) at least bi-weekly;
∎ Identify learning & development need, and take the required action to fill the gaps/need in coordination with program management and HRM&D unit;
∎ Ensure proper action to make the staffs accountable for their responsibilities as well as to IR
∎ Advocacy, Networking, and Communication-5%
∎ Represent IR to Govt. counterparts at field level and play role in trust-building with key Govt. agencies as per the direction of program management;
∎ Build networks and collaborate with local civil society movements for local-level advocacy initiatives in coordination with program management as well as external relation and communication department
∎ Reporting and Documentation-20%
∎ Take lead to produce quality program/project progress reports as per the requirements of donors & IR.
∎ Prepare monthly/ quarterly/any other reports of OSP as required by line management;
∎ Collect the most significant case stories from the field and prepare a learning document;
∎ Check photos, drawings, greeting cards, etc. and translate if needed;
∎ Upload APRs (Annual Progress Reports) in Al-yateem system;
∎ Maintain proper process documentation including files of sponsored children, event reports, visit reports, education reports, etc.
∎ Others-5%
∎ Manage and ensure the integration & compliance of IR policies and other relevant sector codes of good practices including administrative, health, safety, and security policies and frameworks at field level;
∎ Responsible for seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if require.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.
