Education:
- Bachelor/Honors
Bachelor’s degree in any of the disciplines of environmental science, Climate Change, Natural Resource Management, Disaster Management, Social Science, Geography and Environment, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.

Skills Required: Climate Resilience,DRR,Project Management,Wash
Additional Requirements:
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in project management and implementation, preferably in fields related to climate resilience, ecosystem management, NBS, DRR, WASH and livelihoods. Previous experience in Sundarbans or coastal areas of Bangladesh is an asset.
Strong understanding of DRR, Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), climate-resilient Livelihood, and DRR approaches.
Experience in community-level WASH interventions.
Proven ability to work in remote and vulnerable regions with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent communication, networking, team management, and coordination skills.
Knowledge with the cultures of Barguna and coastal communities is an advantage
Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and work collaboratively with local stakeholders.
Adaptability: Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to rapidly changing field conditions.
Problem Solving: Creative and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate challenges and mitigate risks effectively.
Cultural Sensitivity: Respect for and sensitivity towards the socio-economic context of Barguna and the Sundarbans communities.
Responsibilities & Context:
Reportable to : Project Manager
Duration of contract : Up to 31st December 2025 (with the possibility of extension based on availability of project funding).
Starting Date : As soon as possible/01 February 2025.
