Education:
Candidate must have a Post-Graduation Degree in Environmental Science/Climate Change/Disaster Management/Social Science/ Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Statistics/Economics/ Geography and Environment /Environmental Engineering/Urban and Regional Planning and other relevant subjects from any reputed Public and Private University.
Post-Graduate degree from abroad will be an asset .

Additional Requirements:
Candidate must have a minimum 5 years of working experience in the relevant field.
Interested in action research and project implementation;
Able to work under pressure and can meet the deadline;
Able to perform multi-tusk;
Proficiencies in Bengali and English languages;
Analytical ability to explain complex issues
Well aware of the political economy of climate change, environment and Natural Resource Management
Must have good command over MS Office Package
Skilled in GIS, SPSS, and data analysis software will be given Preference.
Responsibilities & Context:
Nature Conservation Management (NACOM) is looking for a potential candidate (Male/Female) having particular interest in action research in sustainable development, climate change, adaptation and mitigation, climate finance, disaster management, biodiversity conservation, pollution control, and livelihood development.
Responsibilities:
Support NACOM management in Project Implementation
Undertake primary and secondary research activities
Project proposal development
Report writing, briefing notes and policy brief development
Field visit as and when necessary
Data collection and analysis
Any other task assigned by the NACOM management.
Job Other Benifits:
The Assistant Program Officer will receive a monthly salary of 50,000 taka (all inclusive).
