Educational Requirements:
∎ PhD
∎ Must have a Doctoral Degree in the relevant fields. Candidates completing the Doctorate Degree from the USA, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Japan or UK will get preference.
∎ Must have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the respective disciplines mentioned above with a CGPA of at least 3.50 and above & a minimum GPA of 4.75 on a 5-point scale for SSC & HSC and minimum GPA of 4.00 on a 5-point scale for O & A levels.
Experience Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Departments / Faculties: Faculty of Engineering, Technology and Built Environment (FETBE)
∎ As an Assistant Professor, you are expected to have expertise in related subjects in order to teach students. Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical demonstrations, fieldwork and e-learning. You`ll also pursue your own research to contribute to the wider research activities of your department or University.
∎ JOB LOCATION: 26 Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To prepare the course outline, course calendar, lesson plan, tutorial and schedule for students and conduct theoretical, tutorial and practical classes, extension teaching, related research and cooperative field experience.
∎ To prepare questions, invigilate tests and exams, mark and grade scripts and assignments.
∎ To guide and supervise project work, internship, dissertation or thesis as and when assigned.
∎ To guide and supervise students to perform co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Attend meetings of the University as and when invited.
∎ Work as "Faculty Representative at different events and activities of the University when detailed.
∎ Provide assistance in different activities of the University when called upon to do so.
∎ Carry out administrative tasks initiated by the teacher himself/herself or assigned by the Department, Faculty or the University or under the instruction of the Top Authority.
∎ To monitor and report on the implementation of the Strategic policy plan for respective schools.
∎ To ensure academic discipline and standards as well as report on other matters including the student affairs of UCSI University Bangladesh and performs
∎ responsibilities as per the private university Act of 2010.
∎ To teach courses in their subject area and to assess students' progress by grading papers, tests and other work.
∎ To conduct research and experiments to advance knowledge in their field.
∎ To serve on academic and administrative committees that review and recommend policies, make budget decisions, or advise on hiring and promotions within their department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates must have at least 2 (two) peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals. Must have at least 4-years of teaching experience.
