Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-Graduation in Finance/ Accounting/ Accounting and Information Systems.

Job Context:
∎ Report to: Head of Finance and Administration
∎ Contract Duration: 02 (Two) Years. May be extended based on performance and fund availability.
∎ Working Conditions: Major part of the job will be in Country Office and occasionally require visiting to project
∎ Purpose: Assist the team by providing efficient financial data management through ERP for the achievement of overall objectives of Educo Bangladesh.
∎ Engagement:
∎ Closely work with Head of Finance and Administration and other staffs for smooth day-to-day payment process and sharing required financial data.
∎ Deal with external vendors for various types of payment.
∎ Delivery: Check the documents make cheque requisition, update monthly basis data entry in ERP system and ensure all the bank payment related document are documented properly.
∎ Job Summary: As a member of Finance and Administration team, the Assistant Officer - Finance will assist the team in voucher preparation, budget preparation, cheque requisition, documents checking for cheque management, data entry in ERP etc.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Documents Verification: 60%
∎ Voucher preparation and checking the accuracy of the cost center of the bills before making cheque requisition.
∎ Checking the accuracy of the activity mentioned in the bills before entering the data into the execution template.
∎ Assist the to manage the financial transactions in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
∎ Participate in the preparation of financial reports as required
∎ Ensure all vouchers are complete, accurate, and relevant.
∎ Ensure proper deduction of VAT & Tax and prepare Tax and VAT challan.
∎ Maintain bank book and prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements
∎ Partner Management:15%
∎ Review Partner fund request and disburse fund to PNGOs
∎ Review partner's scan voucher and arrange to send to HO
∎ Assist in ERP Accounting Data Entry:20%
∎ Assist in completing Monthly execution by entering data in the EPR Globe system within specified timeframe.
∎ Report generation from ERP Globe.
∎ Backs up important data files to secure storage system.
∎ Reporting:5%
∎ Assist to prepare monthly tax statement, withholding tax statement, statements U/S 108 and 108A
∎ Assist to prepare fund request to Head Office.
∎ Assist and prepare FD6, FD2, FD3, fund clearance and annual report as per requirement of NGOAB
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience:
∎ Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in Finance and Accounts.
∎ National/International NGO experience is preferable.
∎ Required experience in Partner Monitoring (PNGOs), Data Entry, Reporting, Documentation etc.
∎ Language and Skills:
∎ Position requires both English and Bangla at standard level.
∎ Advance knowledge in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Mail Communication.
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation capacity.
∎ Knowledge:
∎ Advance knowledge in Country's Tax and Value added Tax related laws.
∎ Proper knowledge on accounting software management.

Salary:
∎ Monthly Gross Salary BDT 32,338 (Taka Thirty-Two thousand Three hundred and Thirty-Eight Only).
