∎ Since 1999, in Bangladesh we have been implementing development programs in the marginalized urban and rural areas and with time we expanded our works to broader geographical areas. Currently, Educo Bangladesh is implementing large number of development and humanitarian projects which are funded by different internal and external donors; like KOICA, EU/UNOPS, ChildFund Alliance, ADEY, Barnfonden, AECID, Mango etc. in various districts of Bangladesh. ∎ Report to: Head of Humanitarian Response, CXB
∎ Contract Duration: Initially up to December 31, 2025
∎ Working Conditions: The position is based in Cox’s Bazar will require frequent field visit to Rohingya camps and host community.
∎ The Communications Officer, under the supervision of the Head of Humanitarian Response, Cox’s Bazar will be responsible for ensuring the better implementation and quality programming through development and implementation of communication strategy in Rohingya Response with emphasis for further growth of the organization, S/he will,Support the communications team to help build and maintain a positive reputation for Educo, communicating effectively with its target audienceS/he will support to Head of Humanitarian Response, Cox's Bazar in managing internal and external communicationsS/he will provide digital, editorial, creative and operational support across Educo’s workS/he will support to develop and implementation of communication strategy aligned with the organization's goal and objectivesS/he ensures consistency in messaging across various communication channels, will contact the media inquiries, coordinate press events to generate positive media coverage to uphold the organization's brand identity and values.
∎ Support the communications team to help build and maintain a positive reputation for Educo, communicating effectively with its target audience
∎ S/he will support to Head of Humanitarian Response, Cox's Bazar in managing internal and external communications
