• Experience in the garment/apparel industry is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines, cutting machines, and other garment production equipment.

• Proficient in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process improvement.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of production planning and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

• Basic understanding of electrical and automation systems in machinery.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on sewing machines, cutting machines, pressing machines, and other garment production equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement solutions promptly.

• Ensure machine calibration and alignment for optimal performance.

• Assist in the installation of new machinery and ensure proper setup according to manufacturer guidelines.

• Test machines for performance, safety, and production efficiency before handover.

• Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency and production output.

• Work with production and quality teams to reduce machine downtime and defects.

• Implement automation solutions where applicable to enhance productivity.

• Ensure all machines meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Train operators on safe machine handling and preventive maintenance procedures.

• Maintain records of machine maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs.

• Prepare reports on equipment performance, downtime, and improvement recommendations.

• Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.

• Coordinate with vendors for spare parts procurement and technical support.
