Responsibilities & Context:
  • Make and Implement market analysis, sales strategies and achieving sales targets.
  • Ensure detailed market research & analysis, planning and budgeting for the assigned market for every year.
  • Conduct sales forecasts and determine SKU wise daily, weekly, monthly and yearly sales goals and achievement.
  • Develop a sales plan for every sales team member and motivate them for achieving day to day deliverables.
  • Explain and promote products and services to the customers offered by the organization.
  • Maintain an effective communication and good relationship with dealers, farmers, team members, management and other stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain weekly and monthly SKU wise sales reports for different territories/regions and present reports to the supervisor/head office by highlighting the key points for further action plan.
  • Suggest improvements in sales approaches as on need & demand of customers and activities of competitors.
  • Assist in the on job training and development of team members for continuous improvement.
  • Be aware of the frequent changes in current market trends and stay up to date on sales analysis for further decision making.
  • Evaluate the team members’ performance as on PMS of the company.
  • Must be aware, analyze the background of customers before taking credit approval and be responsible for sales confirmation & recovery of credit on time.
  • Closely follow up agent-wise target versus achievement in terms of cash & credit utilization and synchronization and act accordingly.
  • Ensure maximum selling price, delivery and necessary services of DOC to enhance profitability when available.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/ management from time to time.
